We're so pleased with this decaf! It's processed with a natural byproduct of sugarcane molasses production in Colombia. Sugar cane processing is a dance with nature. It begins with a low-pressure steaming process which opens the pores of the coffee, allowing for caffeine extraction. Next, it's placed in a combination of water and Sugarcane Ethyl Acetate (fermented sugarcane). It is then steamed again before drying in order to fully extract the remaining caffeine. It tastes amazing. Trust us on this one.
