This 2018 honey processed coffee is one we love to share. Generally speaking, fruit from the coffee cherry is removed one of two ways: the Natural Process or the Washed Process. A third, more risky option is available however and that is the Honey Process.Honey processed coffee consists of drying the coffee bean enough to where some of the mucilage (which is sweet and sticky- like honey) is left surrounding the parchment of the seed. With a scoring grade of AAA/AA, this coffee difficult to process, lives up to its hard earned expectations. It also is Rainforest Alliance certified meaning every part of the process for this coffee does no harm to the rainforest.
