This coffee is special, not just because of how it tastes, (which we think is exceptional), but because of what it represents. For reasons we won't go into here it's been difficult or impossible to achieve farm-gate level traceability in Ethiopia for more than a decade now. This coffee marks the beginning of a new season of being able to make real connections with more of the people growing beautiful coffees in Ethiopia.
Meselech Tube is a woman. That woman right there to the left of this paragraph. Meselech, with help from her husband and six children grew this coffee. On their six hectare farm, (about 15 acres) coffee is carefully grown and picked at the right moment with natural processing in mind. And a heck of a natural it is, too.
