This coffee is special, not just because of how it tastes, (which we think is exceptional), but because of what it represents. For reasons we won't go into here it's been difficult or impossible to achieve farm-gate level traceability in Ethiopia for more than a decade now. This coffee marks the beginning of a new season of being able to make real connections with more of the people growing beautiful coffees in Ethiopia.
Belayneh Bariso is a man! with a wife and four kids and a fifteen acre farm that he uses to support his family and fifty employees in and around the village of Bombe. This coffee is an exceptionally clean natural coffee, having been meticulously cared from beginning to end. We respect this farmer and his team's work and we're proud to offer it to you.
