Barista | Part Time - hours and days vary.

Compensation: $13.50/hr + pooled tips [Approx. $20-$23/hour]

The Candidate:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind person who possesses a willingness and desire to connect with others through coffee. The ideal candidate is an individual with a passion for excellence and hospitality who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and effective communication skills are essential. 

The Role:

As a barista you will be asked to make espresso based drinks, teas, operate the register, perform opening/closing duties and provide great service to customers, among other tasks.

Specific Duties & Qualifications: 

• Experience in coffee preparation and customer service is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational and sales skills.
• Ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
• Training and willingness to continue developing their latte art presentation skills. 
• Must have flexibility to work some weekdays, weekends and select holidays. 
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to obtain your Oregon food handlers certification. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
